Adding Photos- Media Crew

Getting your photos on your computer

If you are using an sd card, put your card into the slot on the back of the computer
Create a new folder on your desktop (title this what ever you want)
Drag the files from your sd card to the desktop
To remove your sd card, make sure to drag the sd card icon to the trash. This will allow you to eject the sd card
Once the icon is removed, you can safely take out your sd card. If you remove the sd card without properly ejecting it, it could damage the files

Go to your wordpress dashboard
Click on ‘Pages’ and edit your ‘Portfolio’ page
Click on ‘Add Media’
Click on ‘Upload Files’
Click on ‘Select Files’
Find your images on the computer (I recommend doing a few at a time…if you do them all it will take a really really really loooooooong time)
Once all the files are uploaded, select all the ones that will be included in your porfolio
Once you have selected all the necessary files, click the ‘Create a new gallery’ button on the bottom right
Match your settings to the image below
Click on ‘Insert gallery’
Press ‘Update’ or ‘Publish’ (located under the Publish category on the top right)
Click on the Preview option
You should now see a gallery of your work
Close that screen and repeat this process for all of your categories
