You will use an original photo (not one found on the internet) and alter 7 different parts of it in Photoshop.  The alterations should be subtle, but not impossible. It is really important to save the original before you make any changes.  You will also need to resize it. Go to Image—>Image Size The resolution should between 150 and 250 The longest side should be 9 inches This needs to be done BEFORE you begin your project.  If you do this after you are finished, your image might look pixelated. You will need to include the following alterations:

  • Delete a portion of the image
  • Change the color of a portion of the image
  • Duplicate a portion of the image (Use the Clone Stamp)
  • Read these instructions carefully on how to post your project:
  • Open the original file
  • Go to Image—>Canvas Size
  • Change the width to double what it is originally plus 1/2 an inch (ex if the original width is 6.5, you would change yours to 13.5)
  • Screen shot 2013-04-03 at 7.31.05 AM
  • Your image should now look like this
  • Screen shot 2013-04-03 at 7.37.48 AM
  • Open the edited version and go to Select—>Select All
  • Edit—>Copy
  • Go to the original version
  • Go to Edit—>Paste
